The gold mine CIL production line process is a non-filtered cyanide carbon slurry process that uses activated carbon to directly absorb gold from cyanide pulp. There are seven stages of operation, they are preparation of leaching pulp, cyanide leaching, activated carbon adsorption, desorption of gold-bearing charcoal, electric shock that producing gold mud, gold-off carbon recycling, and slurry leaching.
There are two main types of ore could be used in the gold mine CIL production line process: one is flotation gold concentrate or amalgamation, gravity selection tailings, and the other is muddy oxidized ore.
Impurity removal of ore pulp
The cyanide pulp should be treated with impurities such as wood chips before adsorption to prevent the wood chips from adsorbing the gold and activated carbon in the slurry to the carbon-rich, and prevent the wood chips from blocking the carbon screen.
Leaching and adsorption
Activated carbon is added to the leaching tank, and the activated carbon adsorbs gold in the slurry to become gold-loaded carbon. After the adsorption is completed, the activated carbon and the slurry are separated by a carbon sieve.
In the closed system, the gold-loaded carbon can be quickly desorbed into gold mud and lean carbon under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
After the obtained gold mud is simply pickled and cleaned, the gold ingot can be directly smelted.
High efficiency and low consumption fast desorption electrolysis system
The system is characterized by high temperature, high pressure, no cyanide and desorption automatic control, and has the characteristics of high efficiency, rapidity and low consumption.
•Efficient: When the gold-loaded carbon grade reaches 3000g/t, the desorption rate can reach over 96%, and the lean carbon grade can be reduced by 50%-75% compared with the conventional desorption electrolysis device.
•Fast: Desorption electrolysis temperature can be as high as 150 °C (30-55 °C higher than other models). And the system working pressure could be up to 0.5Mpa (0.2-0.5Mpa higher than other models). Therefore, the desorption electrolysis is very fast, generally 12 hours, which shorten 50%-75% by comparison.
•Low consumption: With constant desorption electrolysis temperature, there is no need to exchange heat. Because of the rapid work, the total power consumption is 1/2-1/4 of the conventional system.
•Cyanide-free: There is no sodium hydrogenation required in the desorption solution. Therefore, cost is low and with no pollution
•High grade gold mud could be produced without reverse electrolysis. And the gold mud extraction is easy.
•Automatic control: There are some special settings, including liquid level control system, temperature control system and automatic control system.
•Safety: Triple safety protection is set, which contains the intelligent system, automatic pressure limiting and releasing mechanism, insurance safety valve.
